The Department for Local Government (DLG) and Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) announce a fifteen (15) day public comment period and hearing to obtain input and feedback regarding the proposed Substantial Amendment 1 to the Preservation and Reinvestment Initiative for Community Enhancement (PRICE) Program Action Plan.

The purpose of this PRICE Action Plan Amendment 1 (Amendment) to the Commonwealth’s PRICE Action Plan (approved by HUD) is two-fold:

1. Modify program budgets as detailed in the Amendment; and
2. Modify the ROC Conversion part of the Program from using a NOFO to using a pre-determined set of objective criteria as detailed in the Amendment.

Public Comment

DLG invites residents, public agencies, and other interested parties to review the Amendment and submit comments. Comments received during the public comment period will be incorporated into the final Amendment.

The Amendment will be available for public comment from 8 a.m. ET Monday, September 28th until 4 p.m. ET Friday, October 16, 2026.
